Youth Matters - A New Youth Program
From Monday to Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. , a new program will feature tutoring , homework help ,career awareness , problem solving , self-awareness and healthy relationships.
Field trips , guest speakers and plenty of games and activities.
Space is limited to 15 youth ages 12 - 17 years.
Registration is required.
We are looking for people to come in to, demonstrate, or talk, about their work , with the youth.

A drop in program will continue from 6 to 9 p.m.
Youth are invited to come in for tutoring , movies , crafts and games.
 
Description of Programs and Services
 
Mo's Place is a Youth Drop In Centre in Millican- Ogden that provides services for youth between the ages of 11-17 (Grades 7-12).

Mo's Place offers a place for youth to enjoy many activities including:
  making friends at a friendly , safe , meeting place
arts and crafts
sports activities
field trips
art classes
volunteer opportunities
job finding clubs
homework assistance/tutoring
building cultural awareness
one on one counselling
work shops on drugs
child welfare (child abuse and lawyer referral)
There are computers available to use for homework.
 
Mo's Place operates through corporate funders, personal donations and fundraising to offer this type of programming for the youth.
